we had a small get together (which is hard for me cuz I wish I could just have everyone over!) a good friend from Brant's mission was in town visiting and his bday is on the 27th.. so it was kind of a combined deal I guess.
some good things about Brant:
he is very aware and thoughtful of my needs
he is sensitive
the best Dad ever to our kids!
helps out whenever he can around the house
lets me sleep in in the mornings and takes care of the kids :)
is such a great friend to everyone and me!
knows alot and isn't afraid to tell.. haha
he enjoys the simple things
likes the food I make
I feel confident in him and comfortable that he will protect our family.. he is our hero :)
3 dudes and 3 girls.. kinda funny
taking out the trash in the bathrooms, feeding the dog, cleaning her room, sorting her laundry and putting it away, she has started helping with dishes and she likes to check the mail and bring it in.. so here is her in action w/ our cute little friend Afton :)
also about Tati: she is reading and writing! she can sound out some words and spell them on her own.. amazed at this girl every day. we are currently teaching her on how to choose her friends wisely.. she is an angel and just loves everyone and doesn't understand that although we need to love everyone, but also need to be around friends that share the same values. she sometimes gravitates towards kids that aren't very nice.
she enjoys getting dressed on her own, which includes in choosing her own outfit and some days she deliberately doesn't want to match.. so I let her :)
she is very creative and artistic.. very good at drawing and imagining things
I could go on and on about my Punky lou
he is now 8 months old
he can sit up.. for a while and may tilt and fall over
in the 5th percentile for weight
has no teeth yet, but has been "teething" since he was 3 months
his hair is starting to get darker as well as his eyes
the girls just love him to pieces.. sometimes too much
he just started getting on his hands and knees and rocks back and forth.. so cute
loves to sleep on his belly, but always leaks through his diaper at night (any suggestions on how to stop this would be great..and yes I do make sure it is pointing down) haha
sleeps from 8pm to 6am (on good days)
Brant is the best at putting him to sleep
well that's all I can think of for now..
poor guy got bronchiolitis a few weeks ago and now has ring worm that I'm treating and has been over a week (the rest of us also got super sick: bronchitis (Brant and the girls, I had tonsilitis and pharyngitis, the flu, and pink eye.. then later I got mastitis.. January was not a fun month for us) Levi went to the hospital with a fever 103 degrees, but they said he didn't have rsv or pnemonia..thank goodness..although the doctor said he probably did have rsv earlier that turned into bronchiolitis.

She counts and recognizes all the numbers and letters.. draws and colors amazingly
she loves to sing.. just like her sister and learns songs very quickly
dances like nobody's business
she gets very proud of the good things she does.. so do we.
she is our sensitive girl and a daddy's girl
she likes to suck on her food.. (we're still working on that one)
loves to sit and help/watch Dad work in the garage
she is our little princess
