Merry Christmas

This year was a wonderful Christmas and we really wanted to focus on the important things!

Jesus Christ of course being number 1

and our family

We started off by Brant graduating! (pictures to come)

Then we spent time together as a family.

We tried to limit the gifts this year.. but of course my parents go overboard as usual with or without our permission. oh well :)

 We attended the ward Christmas party and we ate some dinner and watched some singing..good times. Brent Bowden rewrote the Hannukkah song for our ward.. pretty funny

 We got together with friends for a fun elephant gift exchange and yummy Mexican dinner at the Severtsons :)

 Sunday before Christmas.. which I came home early w/ Tati since she had a cough

 Christmas at the Morrows.. storytelling and Santa!!

 so instead of gifts to the cousins, we all shared stories and will collect them over the years

 this Santa was a little scary I guess.. haha Levi wasn't too happy

 the girls got some fun socks and sticker books, I got some cook books!

 for family night we took the girls to the driving range and hit some golf balls

 Hailey's new haircut!! 8 inches cut off..her choice. she's still beautiful

We spent the night before Christmas Eve at my parents because Erik was supposed to come into town, but didn't cuz he was sick and then David and his family ended up coming which was a surprise.. we haven't seent them in a long time and it was good to see them.  Christmas Eve we went to PF Changs with my parents and then came home and read stories to the girls and they each got to open the gift they got eachother, but Hailey fell asleep so Tati opened up a snake and little pet shop Hailey picked out for her.. Hailey got a spider and pet shop from Tati. a few days ago I was making some goodies for someone and my old hand mixer broke and I needed to borrow one.. instead Tati brought me a wrapped gift.. Brant had gotten me a mixer for Christmas and had me open it early since I needed it then.. although I would have preferred to borrow one and open the new one on Christmas ..but oh well..it was a great gift.
 We got netflix from my brothers account and the girls have been watching an old Rudolph classic. Christmas morning we got up and Tati was the first to discover what Santa left behind.. a jump rope and hula hoop just like she asked for.. we got undies, crayons, play dough, snacks, juice, hair ties, etc in their stockings.. they loved that and they each got pillow pets, just like they asked.. Tati got a lady bug and Hailey a bee. they both also got toy story 3 and some other small things.
 Then we went to have a big breakfast at my parents.. oh and before that there was a surprise gift for me under the tree.. and it was a gun .. that Brant got me.. wasn't super thrilled about it, but then I should appreciate it no matter what.. I have some learning to do I guess :)
 the girls got an overload of gifts and I was excited about Brant getting a gun safe and a drill I picked out. and another surprise gift was an iphone that my parents got me among other things , but the gift I am waiting for are some pots and pans in the mail.. :)
