Chinchilla (softest fur ever!)The Pre-K kids and siblings had a great time visiting Petco for their field trip. They got to see lots of birds, reptiles and amphibians, fish, rodents, turtles, bunnies and ferrets!
I thought the ferrets were the cutest! Something we learned is that ferrets have a strong smell like a skunk and have to be de-scented when you buy one. They also sleep all day long, but when awake for just a few hours..they are pretty active! The kids loved them.
The Chinchilla has the softest fur I have ever felt! such a neat animal.
some of the reptiles, like the bearded dragon and the tortoise can carry salmonella..so we had to make sure we washed our hands after touching them.
We will probably never own any of these animals, but it was very interesting to learn about them. We also got to see some very cute dogs that came in (pit bulls) that was fun too.

I've got sitemeter and feedjit on my blog and I know his ip address so I can check sitemeter and it will list the ip addresses and I can see when, how long, and where he left to (which is usually my other sisters blog)
