We're Back

We're back from the hospital, the home care nurse came by today and showed us how to give her antibiotic (Cefapime) to her by i.v. It's really neat, it's called a party ball and it's hooked up in a balloon, in a sealed container and the medicine goes through a tube, through her broviac..very convenient. She stays on the medicine until thursday, when we go in for our next doctor visit, to see if she has any kinds of infection, if not, then she can stop the antibiotic. We are still waiting for insurance to clear and we are updating/renewing our insurance, for the bone marrow transplant, if it doesn't clear in time, we are scheduled for another round of chemo next week, which I am really hoping we don't! I hope to leave to Tuscon as soon as possible to get it all over with. Her ANC is 92 today, her platelets are up to 140,000 and her hemoglobin is up to 11. She is really enjoying her baby talk right now and loves to drool. She is getting back on a regular schedule, as much as we can. She started nursing better today! she is still a little weak, and slowing getting stronger.
