Saturday before Halloween, we had our ward chilli cookoff. Wed night we went to our old ward's cook off and it was fun as it always is. This was our first year as outsiders :( It was nice to see our old ward family!
This year I made my 3 bean and beef chilli again, which won at the old ward cookoff and I got 3rd in this ward. I thought the Stewert's chilli was actually delicious and they got 4th. we had a great time here's Levi and Nene chillin on the blanket. It acutally got pretty chilli that night.. haha get it.. chilli at the chilli cookoff..ok I'll stop.

Tuesday night we got to go to another ward chilli cookoff.. at Brant's parents ward and it was fun! Jen and her kids met up there as well.. and their ward did things differently. Normally there is a panel of judges that judge the chilli, but their ward just went around asking for everyone to vote their favorite..so of course we got everyone to vote for Mary's chilli and she got 3rd!! she got a pie as a reward! Sunday night with the family we carved pumpkins in teams. Tati and I were on one team and the others were w Brant wonder if you can guess who's is who..Tati did her own drawing and we helped cut it out.

What a blast of a night and the kids didn't eat anything nutritional whatsoever
I didn't have a costume, so I threw on everything black and a black tutu..with black thick eye liner. I guess I was a gothic ballerina haha and brant threw on his camo gear and he was a hunter..he actually looked more dressed up than me..he gets the point this year!
