Caribbean Cruise

Starting March 10, 2011

our family, the Kerby's and my parents went on a Caribbean Cruise on Norweigan Cruise Line, the Dawn

First we stopped in Fort Lauderdale (the flights were cheaper than flying to Miami) and stayed one night there at the Roach Inn (can't remember the name of the hotel)

it was fun, we had some pizza delivered and just hung out there and the next morning we got a shuttle to Miami..which was only about 30 min.

We arrived to the port in Miami and started off our cruise on Friday March 11.. for the next 9 days we visited Dominican Republic, Tortola, Antigua, Barbados, and St. Kitts.

 The kids enjoyed the kiddie pool area, even though the water was a little bit chilly (for my skin at least)

 Hailey did this shake like a dog thing when she got out of the pool.. it was hilarious!

Karaoke is always fun.. even if I'm the only one that will do it..well the kids helped every now and then..and danced!

Tortola:
 British virgin Islands.
Laura and I took Tati and Bibo to swim with the dolphins. It was fantastic! I love dolphins more than any other animal and this was my first encounter with them. The dolphins name is Neptuno. Tati got an allergic reaction to some seaweed in the water and got a rash.. poor girl, it stung her and was burning like crazy. we sprayed some vinegar, it helped a little, but she was pretty upset and fortunately it was towards the end. She was also upset that we didn't buy a dolphin souvenir in the store..then later, we went to some swap meet on the beach and I got a dolphin and turtle for Tati and Hailey as a surprise.. then snuck it on their bed on the boat when we got back.. they were extatic! Tati even has a little tear of joy and she was very appreciative :)

 Antigua: (pronounced Antiga) = good times.
we drove to this beach that we snorkled at.. and Tati got to practice a little w/ Brant.

 coolest people ever here and fun!

 back to Miami.. Danguy's came to play!! so nice to see Becca and her family!!

 these girls are a hoot!

I am so grateful to have gone on this wonderful vacation with friends and family!

we had an awesome time.. now I hope Brant will agree to go on another cruise someday :)
