Happy Valentines Day!

I love Valentines Day! not only because this so called holiday is primarily for us girls, but it is special to both Brant and I. Valentines was our first "official" date.. I say that because Brant wasn't big on taking me on "dates" when we were "dating".. haha. Anyways, so it has been sort of tradition that Valentines was our special day and we usually go to PF Changs. This year we went to Pei Wei.. cheaper and still delicious; we then we to see Percy Jackson and the Olympians The Lightning Thief (it was pretty good). After the movie, we went to Wal Mart cuz we wanted to kill time (we had a babysitter) and we needed to get some treats for the girls.. and us. We got some dove chocolate, red vines, caramels for Brant, and some dark chocolate covered pomegranates for me. I almost was going to pick out my own flowers, since Brant hadn't gotten any yet but I decided not to..they were $15 and I figured there are other things I'd rather have.. like this nice watch that I ordered online! (except I ordered a watch face with some bling on it and a pearl colored face..that way it'll match the many other bands I plan to purchase in the future) oh and Brant got some camping chairs :)

Our ward had a nice Valentines Dinner Dance. I made some lasagna for the event and everything turned out great! It was formal wear and since we don't really do formal, we just wore church clothes. Formal would have been fun, besides the fact I am pregnant and can't fit into anything decent. There was also dancing, which isn't Brant's forté, so we watched and that was fun. Also have to say how wonderful our babysitter was! (gotta give props to Hannah Merkley) She had my disastrous dish mess in the kitchen cleaned..very unexpected and nice!

So we get home and the girls are in bed.. nice! although kinda miss them for the time we were gone and not being able to see them until morning. Anyways, I had time to make these for them for their gift: Swarovski puffy heart pendants. They wore them to church with their cute outfits.
