Ward Campout, AZ State Fair

We went to our ward campout Thur, Oct 15. We got there in the afternoon and stayed until late that night. We decided not to stay the night, since Brant had school the next morning. I didn't take many pictures, but the girls had a lot of fun @ Madera Ranch. We had caramel apples, ate hot dogs, danced and sat at the camp fire..it was chilly.

Friday Oct 23, my Mom and I took the girls to the AZ State Fair! We got tickets for free from Hope Kids and that day rides were only $1 each, so we bought 20 rides. The girls had a blast! It was pretty warm, but cooled off toward the end. We even got to park right across the street for only $5. We went on a small farris wheel and Hailey was shaking during the down part, so I held her then she felt more comfortable, but still a little scared, with a smile on her face..she enjoyed it. Fortunately we ate lunch before we got there, unfortunately my Mom didn't and she had to buy a corn dog for $6! rip off.. we did get yummy strawberry lemonades though.. We then got to meet and take pictures with Dora and Boots. Hailey's first reaction was reluctant as usual, but once Tati went up, she got closer and just stared at her smiling..haha she loves Dora. After a few hours at the park we were beat and the girls slept on the way home.
*Another thing worth mentioning is that I am pregnant! I am about 7 weeks this week (Oct 29) my first doctor appointment is on nov. 19th. I can't wait to get through this first trimester. I am tired, nauseated, hungry, etc.. I am already starting to show. Brant joked in the beginning being unsure that I was pregnant since I didn't take a pregnancy test..I didn't need to since I already knew I was..all the symptoms and I just know! anyways, we joked that I was either pregnant or menopausing..haha..cuz I would get hot flashes. Whatever, I think he's come to terms with it by now.. I am not gaining weight for no reason here! The patience has already become pretty thin, so hopefully I can work on that. I haven't been unable to eat anything in particular, just have to eat a lot and right away before I get hungry! I can eat chinese food and like it, whereas my other pregnancies I had to stay away from.. although again I can never eat a lot of steak when I am pregnant and I feel it's the same now. I haven't thrown up yet, so hopefully I can avoid that..we'll see!
