We had a wonderful opportunity to go to Disneyland for the 1st time w/ the girls! we were so excited to take them and more so Tati was ecstatic! We went with the Olsons and it was Tjel's birthday so he got to get in free..that was a good motivating factor..along with getting half price tickets on craigslist! We left to San Diego on the 16th and went to disneyland on the 17th, which was also Disneylands 54th birthday!
We spent a looong 10 hours at the park and it was hot and very much worth it..well not as hot as here. Tati got to see Alice in Wonderland, the mad hatter, Queen of Hearts, Mulan, Tinkerbell and Rosetta, Snow White, and her favorite Cinderella. When she was Cinderella her eyes lit up so much she was just so happy and she ran to give her a hug. Hailey on the other hand was more interested in admiring from a distant. Jackie and I both brought our double strollers, but they have a sit and stand and Tati and Avy wanted to sit together on the sit and stand or in our stroller.. so they played musical strollers most of the day..pretty funny. Tati liked all the rides, although on the matter horn she said she didn't like the "white ghost." we explained that the abominal snowman was just saying "raaarrr" like Dad does when he's playing around and jumps out from around the corner to scare you! and he's a nice guy too. She was feeling a lot better about that. At about 9:30pm everybody was setting up spots to watch the fireworks and Tinkerbell fly over the castle. It was pretty amazing, but we were booking it out of there before the enormous traffic hit.
Again, the girls had a great time at the beach and we were soo glad to spend this time w/ the Olsons, since they will be moving soon and we will be very sad and will have to soon post up applications for new best friends :( j/k I also did take a lot of pictures, but mistakenly deleted them all and they are gone forever.. fortunately Jackie took some and I had to buy one off disneyphotopass to get one of Tati and Cinderella. Boy did I mess up big time and will definitely be more careful in the future. Stinkin $15 for 1 4x6 photo download, but worth it :)
We also had a wonderful 4th of July, which I forgot to mention.. we had a BBQ w/ friends and went swimming and watched fireworks in a big dirt field w/ no one else around but us and friends and a perfect view of the fireworks.. perfect! we also almost got kicked out by security, but the fireworks ended just in time :)
Tati also had a very fun time at our first play group! Her friends came over to play and swim in the kid pool. We also got to go to the lake w/ Grandma & Grandpa Morrow and cousin Sammy. I slalom skied and was suuuper sore the next day! I even tried to jump the wake..haha whoever does the slalom probably knows it's not made to jump, but I was just going for it and my hands were soo tired at the end, I had to just let go and I biffed it..too bad I didn't get it on video!

I am so happy that you got one of Tati and Cinderella! Stinks that you had buy it! I wish I would have taken to more pictures.
Love reading all your updates.. you've had the funnest/busiest summer ever! Our new place is in Mission Valley, off the 8 freeway. It's in a big fancy complex and has it's own trolly stop so Skippy can take the trolly downtown to school everyday and not worry about finding parking. It's going to be weird going back to apartment living, but worth it:)
