Visit to Phoenix Childrens Hospital

Tati has been very sick this past week. She contracted another peritonitis infection (Gram positive Staff) as well as a cocide infection in her blood. We spent Monday April 2nd through Thursday April 5th in the hospital at Phoenix Childrens. The nurses were wonderful, but the rooms are 2 person rooms, so we had to share w/ another patient. The first patient we had to share with was a teenager and it was pleasant. The next patient was a month old baby and a very young mom, which was an unpleasant experience. Tati also got a bad allergic rash all over her body; which I think was from using the hospital body wash. (strange that a childrens hospital didn't have baby soap) Tati is taking Vancomycin (antibiotic) and heparin through dialysis for 8 days. We are glad to be home for Easter and Tati is doing much better!
