We had a great Christmas! We loved having Brant's family here visiting and my family. We also got to spend Christmas Eve with our friend Michelle's family's house here in Tuscon, with our friend Fuz; it was great and we went to church at their building. We hope everyone had a great Christmas and has a wonderful New Year! Tatiana has started her peritoneal dialysis last week, she is up to 40ml of fluid that dwells in her peritoneal space in her abdomen and drains for 15 minutes..she needs to get up to over 200ml of fluid..she is having a hard time tolerating that amount of fluid, it may take some time. She is off nicardipine and most of her blood pressure medications, except for one clonodine patch..the less amount of fluid she had retained in her body, the better her pressures are..so we are keeping her dry. Her ideal weight is around 7.5 kg. She is still on about 0.5L of oxygen. There is another paricardial infusion around her heart (fluid), she is getting frequent echos, so they aren't doing anything drastic yet, but if it gets worse, they will do another procedure to drain the fluid around her heart. Tati is still happy and being strong.. MERRY CHRISTMAS
