During October break, Our Stake put together a very well planned family "vacation."
Wednesday Oct 12-Saturday Oct 15
We went Thursday afternoon until Friday afternoon.
Brant spent most of the day Thursday, after setting up, helping at the rifle shooting range.
Thursday night there was a fun "talent show." It was basically a show that select few performed some kind of act, from each ward. For our ward, we had Brent Bowden, who sang a funny song about Mormons and Layne Gneiting told a story about a train. Our ward pretty much kicked everyone else's bottom.
I attended classes that they provided for the adults: Healthy Living with the Cunninghams, Fun things to do with your kids with a lady whom I don't know, and tuning into the spirit by Pres. Smith.
Friday I took a nap, because Thursday night I did not sleep much. Levi tossed and turned all night, but fortunately he didn't cry much and wake others. He didn't like sleeping inbetween me and the girls. Once Brant had him sleeping in a spot where he wasn't touching anyone, he did better. Brant had practically nowhere to sleep, so he didn't get much sleep either; so by Friday afternoon I was ready to head out.
The primary programs were amazing. The kids had a blast. Brant helped out all morning on Friday, with the primary. Levi missed the cut off, by 1 month and a half, for nursery. It was pretty cold at night and hot during the day.
The food was pretty good
