Miracle Day Balloon Party!!

This day was one of the most important days I have ever experienced.. I say important because.. then, 5 years ago, it was very traumatic and now it is something to celebrate!
I can hardly bring words to describe this day..
This day is special because,
5 years ago on this day of Nov 11, 2010 something very special and miraculous happened.. I won't go into much detail because I feel that it is too important to just divulge to anyone who comes across this blog, so those of you who already know us well..probably already know why :) and if not.. I am more than happy to share in person! my husband reminds me constantly.. to not cast my pearls before swine.
Anyways, Tati has been cancer free for 5 years now!! and I picked this day to celebrate the 2 things.. our miracle girl and being cancer free!
5 years is a big marker for cancer survivors..because the risk decreases after this amount of time. I am so thankful to the Lord beyond words for letting us keep her.
So, we celebrate and Tati has been talking about a balloon party.. just in general when she is pretend playing with her imaginaries (you know, the Qusies.. Menermaid, Lojo, Neheard, Haggard, Krencho, and Mmm Mmm .. and Streno)
She explained that a balloon party is when everyone brings a balloon to the party.
I decided to do this for our celebration.. she would love it!
So we got a bunch of balloons together and everyone brought some as well
at the park, I decided to let the balloons go free all at once to symbolize this wonderful day of being free from cancer and having life!
Tati was very excited .. she accidentally let her balloon go free too early and then a bunch of people handed her another balloon to go free
and I think everyone made a wish too!
Thank you to everyone who shared this day with us!!
and not to mention.. all the yummy food :)

Looks like it was such a fun celebration. Wish we could of been there. I love Tati and her "friends"!! We were trying to remember all of their names the other day. We finally got Ponyo. Avy has asking for it since she saw it at Tati's house. Yeah for 5 years!!!!

"Our" little Miracle reminds me every day WHY I do my job! Thanks for sharing pictures as she grows up! I've been sharing them with others down here. What an amazing spirit you and Brent had back then, and continue to have throughout the years. When telling your story, from our eyes, we tell people that spirit brought her through this day 5 years ago!! Yeah!!! - Nurse Stefanie
