Happy Halloween

The ward fall festival was a hit as usual..
although, I planned on bringing white chicken chili that I had been making all day long and it didn't finish cooking.. the beans were still a little crunchy (so frustrating..it ended up taking like 10 hours to cook!)
I was really hoping to win the chili cook off again this year, oh well, next year I'll make it again.
The girls got their faces painted, rode the train, jumped in the bounce house, ate garbage.. you know good Halloween fun!

We also went trunk or treating on Sat night @ the ward building.. since Halloween fell on a Sunday this year.. it was pretty neat. lots of people in costume and the girls got lots of candy.
Tati was Rapunzel this year.. I initially was going to borrow the dress, but decided to just make one myself.. this was the first time I have ever made a dress.. it turned out ok, but there's always room for improvement.. the hair extensions we borrowed and looked like her real hair!  Hailey was Snow White at the ward festival, but a spider on Halloween.. she wanted to be a dragon, but couldn't find the costume, so we found the spider and she was ok w/ that.. the snow white was a last minute, since I was cooking the chili and didn't have time to find a  costume.. and for me, the bee costume was a last minute throw on costume :)Levi was a cute little duck and Brant of course was once again a party pooper.. or chuck norris :)

We went to the Clouse's and the Tylers .. for some yummy food, carnival games, and the girls won a gold fish each, but unfortunately the next 2 days the fish died :( but then again, we didn't feed it.. just bread crumbs that it didn't eat..and I was planning on getting food for it, but it died first..Tati was really sad and Hailey didn't care.. Hailey watched me flush it down the toilet and Tati wanted to hold him, but I didn't let her; that was too gross for me. poor girl, she was looking forward to having a gold fish.
