Kindergarten!

Tati started Kindergarten today!

She woke up pretty early all by herself and got dressed. She chose her outfit too and how she wanted her hair fixed..in a ponytail.

(notice the band-aids all over her leg.. yeah, she got into the medicine cabinet and put them over every mosquito bite she had.. which is a lot and she said they hurt.) So I put some anti-itch spray on them and took the band-aids off just before school started..I didn't want her making a fuss about them during school.

Tati is very responsible and is getting to be very independant.

A bus came in front of our door.. a bit confused I went and talked to the driver and he said he was picking Tati up for Hermosa Vista..oops, I signed her up a while ago before she got into Franklin, but didn't know the bus was coming to get her.. I now have to call them about the mix up.

Anyways, she was excited thinking the bus was taking her to school.. oh well.

all ready to go with her new backpack and new shoes and new dress (she will be wearing lots of dresses and skirts, since it's either that or pants for the dress code and it's still hot!)

Watching her walk in line with all the kids and go to class was pretty fun.. I didn't have anxiety like I thought I would and I didn't even cry.. which lots of other Mom's did, but it doesn't mean I love her any less (believe me.. I love this girl more than anyone can imagine!) or will miss her less, we were prepared for this day and Tati was a pro.

Her friend Melanie sits right in front of her, which is nice but potentially distracting..haha I'm sure they'll be fine though.

Afterwards, I came home and took a nap and played with Hailey, Hello Kitty Bingo game and fed Levi and the time flew by and it was time to pick her up. 1/2 day kindergarten is just under 3 hrs.

I can't believe I have a kid in school already.. at least Hailey still has 2 more years!
