So I have been slacking on taking pictures lately! Memorial Weekend Morrow camping trip was fun..for the kids! no, I enjoy it usually..this time was rainy and muddy and we weren't prepared for the weather and it was colder than expected. The girls only had one sweatshirt and they had to borrow their cousins..thanks! Camping food..always delicious :) although I am forever preparing ahead of time as well as all the other Moms! well worth it though.
We were up in Heber area at my brother/sister in laws property..great times!
We stayed from Friday to Sunday.. I was ready to leave Sunday morning and then the sun came out.. I was dirty and just wanted to go home.. but then we decided to just go to Church there in Heber. So we did and the minute we get back to camp and start packing up..it starts pouring again! so we quickly get everything done and head out.. not fun packing up in the rain.
Friday, May 29, 2009 is our 6 year Anniversary!! yeah us!
I decided this year to surprise Brant with a night stay at the Gold Canyon Resort. We stayed there the night after we got married! we really enjoyed it and I decided to try it out again. So, our good friends were gracious enough to watch our kids and another good friend to watch our dogs..last minute, sooo appreciated!
Just before we were packing up getting ready to go.. I get a call that I was supposed to feed the sisters that night!! crap.. I felt soo bad, so I just quickly made them dinner and took it over to their house.. I better make sure when I sign up, it isn't my Anniversary weekend..haha.. yeah I messed up on that one!
So, we set out Thursday late afternoon and ate at a nice Mexican restaurant in Gold Canyon, just past AJ I think. We had the room with the jacuzzi spa in it.. awesome! one down side of the hotel.. gotta say.. was the cockroach :( wasn't very happy to find that in our room..along with some other creepy crawlers here and there. So, we got another free night stay..although I would have prefered my money back, but they wouldn't offer that. So, we get to spend another night stay with the cockroaches..haha j/k. none the less, we had a great time!
The next day..Friday, Brant planned for us to go shooting in the desert. I actually enjoyed it! I even hit one of the targets (clay pigeons) it was awesome!!
so.. here I go and post a cheezy, cliché picture of us when we got married.. enjoy

Bummer about the rain! Its crazy its been 6 years, it goes by so fast. I love that you posted a pic of your wedding day. (and it was perfect while I was reading your post Jessica Simpson's "Take my Breath Away" was playing!lol)
