Baby Shower and Baptisms

This past month I've had the opportunity to plan a baby shower for my sister in law and attend 2 wonderful baptisms. (My neice Samantha and Leanna)

The baby shower went well, with lots of good food and great gifts! Sammy and Leanna are so very special to me and I was able to take their pictures in their beautiful white dresses. The spirit was so strong and it was so neat to have their examples to my daughters, who Tati looks up to and loves. Tati is understanding more and more and it's great to see her learning these wonderful and important things.

My sister in Law had her beautiful baby girl, Alexandra Mae. She is just adorable. I can't wait to take some pictures of her.

I got to host Bunco this month! I did homemade pizza. I made the dough in my bread maker.. very easy and it turned out perfect. We did a regular thick crust, pan pizza, and thin crust with lots of great toppings.

Next week Hailey is going to be in the nursery..very exciting for me..not so much for her. She is quite different than Tati. She takes a little longer to warm up to new people; and she bites :( so I think I'm going to have to supervise these next few weeks in nursery. if anyone knows how to help a child who sometimes..not very often..bites other children (just when their hands are put in her mouth or are trying to take a toy away that she doesn't want to give up)..please let me in on any secrets I don't know...since I haven't had to deal with this sort of thing yet. She is beautiful, but can be a bit of a bully.

also, tomorrow is enrichment and we are supposed to come up with a talent.. not sure what I'll do! I thought it would be funny to do something that wasn't actually a talent of mine and beat box or something, which I have no clue how to do, but would like to learn...and people will have strange look on their faces.. who knows.

Hi Andrea & Brant,
I wanted to tell you thank you for your thoughtful comments on our blog. This has been a rough journey watching my baby go through such a horrible disease. I'm glad your little girl is cancer free! Thanks again for your words of encouragement and sweet story of hope!
