I had a wonderful Mothers Day.. I am so blessed to be a mother to 2 wonderful, adorable girls :) I can't even start to talk about how much I love my family! Brant is a great husband.. he always tries so hard to get things right...doesn't help much either when his wife is so picky ;) right! So he was excited to get me what he got me, because I didn't even know what I wanted, but he's so good that he pays close attention even in conversation about things I want or have talked about.. when Rock Band came out for guitar hero..I mention it would be cool to have it.. so he surprised me with it for Mothers Day and I was pleasantly surprised! it's tons of fun.. especially the singing part, which is what I love. Breakfast in bed was another perk that I got in the morning.
Onto another subject..Tatiana (which is why this blog got started) has been doing well! she gets checked up at Phoenix Childrens w/ dr. Joseph every 3 months.. still on 2 blood pressure meds and a few others for other things, with about 40% kidney function. She is still getting speech therapy and just ended her occupational therapy w/ Christie, which we are sad about :( Tati is improving by the seconds! her speech, everything.. her comprehension is amazing. She can already write her name, well half of it she spells TATI.. she can trace almost all of the alphabet and a few shapes, by connecting the dots. she counts to 20 and is interested in how to spell everything. She is so well mannered and I could just go on an on with the accomplishments she had made.. Tati got a nasty shiner falling off the toilet.. poor girl this is her 3rd! some tough luck she has :(
Hailey.. she is more and more adorable each day..if that could be possible. She crawled a few steps this week and is sitting pretty well. She eats star puffs all on her own and says ada and ba. she likes to watch baby einstein and play with Tati in her room. They have really taken a liking to eachother..it's great. She only cries if really tired and that's pretty much about it.. unless she gets hurt, but we are just so blessed to have such good babies.. (knock on wood) Hailey is 8 months old and we just love her auburn hair and blue eyes!
Brant.. he registered for organic chemistry for summer school at ASU and he'll have his associates degree in science or something from MCC. So this summer for him will be filled with school work and studying. We just got back from our vacation to Mission Beach for 10 days. It was a blast, with just our family, and it was our first vacation with just the 4 of us.. minus the dogs, thank goodness. thanks to our wonderful friends the Blackwells :) we stayed in a nice condo right on the beach with the boardwalk at our front door. We went to sea world and the wild animal park! we rode our bikes around and had our good friends from long beach Skip, Katie, Belen, and Thyssen (Thy guy ) come visit for the day. Tati and Belen were 2 little peas in a pod, it was great! we enjoyed it soo much. Brant also got to see his mission companion, Mike Aland and his daughter Afton..who Tati had a wonderful time playing with at the restaurant!
As for me.. I'm just trying to keep up with everything from church callings, visiting teaching, family, friends, and everyone elses agenda, keeping the house clean, and just whatever! it's great though.

Your girls are just beautiful! So you'll be in Florida the beginning of June? Hmm, right now I'm planning on being there the last week of it. I'll try and work on it though since it would be so much fun to see you and go to the reunion. If I miss you- enjoy sunny and humid florida for me!
Looks like you guys had a very fun trip! Cute pictures!
Cute pictures! I'm glad you did an update so I can get caught up on your family. Both of your girls seem so sweet and good - you are so lucky! my boys are little fireballs. Oh ya, I've been meaning to ask you about the gym you used to teach at/have Tati going to? I can't remember the name that you told me.
I love your picture! They make me want my baby girl now!
Small world, I was just reading your blog and saw that you see Dr. Joseph. We just had an appt. with him last week in Mesa. My oldest is having some issues with kidney stones.
It's been a while, I'll have to get to bunko again!
